"Everyone strives for eternal tranquility after death. I'm going to teach you how to get it while we're still living."

Life story

"There is no other form of meditation but life itself..."

Numerous truth-seekers have been profoundly influenced by the teachings of the enlightened Master Siri Samanthabadra Arahath Maha Thero. His contribution to the science of inner transformation through meditation transcends all traditions and is sensitive to the requirements of the modern man, earning him a reputation as a rebel.

Even those who have reached the pinnacle of material success still look for more in life. In their eyes, the truth is the ultimate commodity. It is no exaggeration to say that Samanthabadra Thero's ageless teachings and advice have changed the lives of many individuals in Sri Lanka and beyond. His talks are one of a kind because they are seasoned with his unique brand of wit, wisdom, and life experience.

Books by Thero

He is the author of almost 150 books and CDs combined. This individual in Sri Lanka has authored more books on Dhamma than everyone else in the country combined. The fact that these books were not written by the author but rather are a direct transcription of his audio and video recordings is what makes them so significant. Therefore, not even one solitary word of the master has been altered in any way.

Visit the bookstore in Umandawa to read some of his works.

A few of his sage words

Those individuals who have attained enlightenment in this world are those who did not adhere to any particular organized religion but rather were the ones who endeavored to find the truth... Thero uses the spirit of Lord Gautham Buddha's teaching as the foundation for his approach, but he also provides a way for self-transformation based on his personal experience of becoming enlightened.
